I began piercing in 1995 and have worked across the country and back at multiple studios as well as doing many, many conventions. I’ve attended the annual Association of Professional Piercers Conference in Vegas for 10 years. I’ve been doing scarring, suspension, 3D mods and more extreme procedures since around 2000-2001. I’ve been very, very fortunate to work alongside what I consider to be amongst the best body art practitioners out there.

In April of 2004 I opened my first studio, Wingnut Tattoo, in Anoka, MN. A year later in August I opened our St. Cloud location. Our most recent expansion was done in January of 2011 when we opened Wingnut Piercing in Autonomy Tattoo in Rochester, MN.
I love to do ear piercings because no two snowflakes are alike and regardless of how simple and classy or crazy they might be it gives me lots of options. I pride myself on being a jeweler as much as a piercer. We carry only high-end body jewelry such as Industrial Strength, Body Vision, Anatometal, Modifika and Maya.

In my off time I love spending time with my family and friends. We like swimming, building Legos, playing video and board games. My beautiful girlfriend and I also love antiquing, especially for kitchen gadgets and gizmos. I try to get on the golf course as often as time permits. I also love to cook, grill, and smoke assorted proteins. Kitchen time is relaxing for me. I’ve been compared to the grandma in The Wedding Singer , “ Just take a bite, I wanna see your face!”  I love to fish even though I don’t make it out nearly often enough.
